December 02, 2013, Washington, DC, USA. Mr. Minn Minn Oung, Chairman of Silver Wave Energy, Myanmar visited with Congressman James P. Moran of Virginia, USA on November 21, 2013.
Congressman Jim Moran is currently serving his twelfth term as U.S. Representative from Virginia’s 8th District, comprised of the Cities of Alexandria and Falls Church, Arlington County, and portions of Fairfax County, including Lee District, Mason District, Providence District, Mt. Vernon District, and Dranesville District.
A senior member of the Appropriations Committee, Congressman Moran serves as the Ranking Member on the Subcommittee on the Interior and Environment and also serves on the Defense and Legislative Branch Subcommittees.

Mr. Oung, during his visit with the Congressman in the Rayburn House Office Building in Washington, D.C., outlined the many opportunities for investment and trade between Myanmar and the United States. Mr. Oung invited Congressman Moran to visit Myanmar and see, first hand, the development opportunities emerging in Myanmar.
