New Delhi, December 18, 2013- Held concurrent to LED expo, LED Summit, an exclusive conference on LED industry growth & application areas will be held from 19th-20th December 2013 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. Dr. Farooq Abdullah, Honb’le Minister of Ministry of New & Renewable Energy, Govt. of India, Chief Guest of the LED Summit will be inaugurating the two day summit.
The 2-day conference will be chaired by top industry players and policy makers from the government, lighting bureaus and organisations. The summit is an endeavor to emphasise and highlight the development and progress of LED technology and its advantages and usage in various areas in addition to addressing technical issues and standardization.
SESSIONS
Spanning over 2 days, the conference is segregated into 7 sessions; 3 sessions will be conducted on 19th December and the rest 4 sessions will be held on 20th December. Dr. Ajay Mathur, Director General, Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE), Ministry of Power will give the keynote address followed by a message from Dr. R.K. Pachauri, Director General, TERI. Sessions on Day 1 will cover an in depth review on- Applications of LED for Solar PV System, Electronics Hardware Manufacturing using LED based systems and Funding schemes for new and existing LED/electronic units. Sessions on Day 2 will explorethe LED Technology, Measurement & Standards, Energy Efficiencyand LED design & applications.
