Fort Lauderdale --- There are many websites online which are dedicated solely for the safety of the public. The main goal for all these websites is to make sure the public becomes aware of things that are dangerous for them. Banning smoking in public spaces is the result of the awareness generated by these websites.
One such websites is healthandsafetytoday.com which is trying to spread awareness about Cell Antennas Radio Frequency Radiation that poses a risk to every human being that spends time working around cell antennas. Many countries in Europe highly regulate the placement of cell antennas, or forbid them to be located on school grounds because of the threat of physical harm.
These cell phone antennas are showing up on more and more buildings in USA because of the increasing need for wireless communications and data. Thousands of cell antennas are now located on or near public buildings. We believe the people who need to work near these devices have the right to be safe.
That is why the petition recently launched by Wayne Pfohl of Reno, Nevada, on change.org asking Big Cell Company CEOs to keep workers near the company’s cell antennas safe, needs to be supported. Wayne worked for decades in the wireless networks division of the State of California as a manager of operations and is well aware of the dangers. This petition should be supported by everyone who has a cell antenna in their vicinity, and based on the over half a million cell antennas in the US, that would be you, me and everyone else.
